Introduction to the Team at Waters View
We have a well trained, experienced and loyal Care team, many of whom have been at Waters View for many years, with the longest serving member of staff being with us for over 19 years!

Waters View is owned by Andy and Carol Bradshaw; it was their private home before the conversion to a Residential Home. They have over twenty years experience of owning and operating a care home.

The Manager is Carol Bradshaw. Carol has a City and Guilds Foundation Management for Care Diploma.

Carol is assisted with the daily running of the Home by Helen Dye who is the Assistant manager, Helen holds a NVQ level 3 qualification in Heath and Social care.

There are five Senior Carers. They are responsible for the home in the Managers/Assistant Managers absence and are all NVQ2 qualified or working towards this. They also organise the day-to-day delivery of care to the Residents and support the junior staff in their development.

There are Eight further Care Assistants, who deliver care to our residents under the guidance of the seniors and Assistant Manager.

We have housekeeping and domestic staff who are responsible for keeping the Home clean and tidy.

We have three cooks, who provide home cooked meals, made from fresh local produce and keep the kitchen up to regulation standards.

All of our staff are permanent employees, we do not and have never employed Agency Staff.

We have a handyman who carries out small general repairs and maintenance of the building and grounds. He will also be pleased to help you personalise your room by such things as hanging pictures on your walls.

Laundry is done by the care staff. Please ensure all clothing is colour fast, machine washable and clearly named before admission.

Although all staff have specific roles and responsibilities, the emphasis at Waters View is very much on team-working towards the common goal of providing the very best in care to our Residents.
